ABOUT THE SHERIFF

I am honored to serve as your Sheriff here in Worcester County! Our mission is to protect life and property while upholding integrity, professionalism, and honor.
I have 27+ years of law enforcement experience, with 23 years as a Worcester County Sheriff’s Deputy. I have spent 19 years in the Worcester County Schools, fostering relationships with our students, teachers, and parents. It was a privilege to help our youth develop the necessary skills to excel in their future endeavors in school and our community.
As our world is ever-changing, one thing remains constant – you have the best Deputies and professional staff here to serve you and your families. Leading the women and men of the Worcester County Sheriff’s Office is truly an honor, and I know they are dedicated to service for others.

School Safety

Parents expect that their children are protected when they leave the safety of their homes and attend our county schools. I believe that our School Resource Deputies (SRD’s) are the first line of protection for our innocent students, administrators, and teachers. Our SRD’s provide safety to our schools and prevent potential violence from outside influences and serve as positive role-models for our students.

Protecting Our First Responder

Every day the women and men of the Worcester County Sheriff’s Office respond to all types of calls for service. Sometimes, these calls are tragic and have a lasting effect on our Deputies. Over the years, awareness about mental health issues has increased. It is my priority to continue investing in the mental health of our law enforcement officers to ensure better mental health for them and their families.
